This course covers advanced topics in computer music, including digital synthesis and sound processing, algorithmic composition, acoustic research, and interactive systems.
This course is 3 credit hours. Classes normally meet TuTh 4:45 – 6:00 in room MC 302. We offer this approximately every other fall semester. This course is required for those who are pursuing the doctoral minor in electronic music and for Master’s in Computer Music Composition students. Others who have appropriate experience are welcome. Prerequisites: K403/K503 and K404/K504, or equivalent experience.
